No running.... it's OK!?

It is the last day but one of this year.
I have my target of running but it's OK. Let's enjoy with my family.
We went to Sanrio Puroland(Kitty's Land).

Very clouded and a little tired...

Not only children but also adults can enjoy the stages!


We could enjoy very much.

After coming home, I TRIED to run.... but tasty beer was waiting for me at home!

All !

My little daughter had a fever(over 40℃) but it wasn't a flu (checked two times). Next my first daughter had a fever and then my wife and I had a cold(sore throat). Now daughters are cured and my wife has still sore throat.

See you next year! I am afraid that in the next year they'll find who Santa is!

First ski in this season

I went skiing to Kagura with a friend(a husband of my hospital's staff).
It was terribly windy and snowy but I could get a good impression from the first attack!
I will do it in this season. Of course I will keep running!


We held a birthday party of my daughter in the restaurant(sylvania).


There are many Christamas here and there!

Mt.Mitake mountaineering race

This is my last race of this year. It is anual race of my family. After this race we have to prepare for New Year's Day.
We stayed at 宿坊(small hotel?)in Mt.Mitake on the day before the race and
could see a spectacle nidght view from the mountain.

I woke up early in the morning and jogged around the hotel.

Though many clouds I could see sun rise in the cold !

The result was...... But I didn't get injuryed and thank you for good 2009!

After night duty, I went to a drink party at night.
It was held by operation staffs and I "have to " take part in it!

I declared that I will finish the next full marathon in March within three hours.
I could have had training more and more against the plantar pain these days.
But sometimes I am so tired that I am terribly sleepy while working!!
I must work but of course I must not run ,just enjoy running!

Running in the wind

i saw a movie "running in the wind? run against the wind? It's windy..."
In the movie there is no answer why we run.
We have many answers with each other.
I think I run for myself but sometimes for others.
Anyway we will enjoy the Hakone Ekiden much more in the next year than usual.

colorful trees in Koganei Park

I spent slow time with my daughters in Koganei Park.
Trees there have been changing themselves to various colours.
Although it was very cold today, we could feel something warm from their colours.

Ducks look also chilly.

Japanese mayples have many colours, red,yellow,brown and orange.

My daughter is now practicing to ride a bicycle.

Ginkgoes turned to beautiful yellow.

warm days

Autumn is going and soon winter will come. But it is warm in this week.
So it is the chance to begin the morning run.
I woke up 5:30 in this morning and.... was sitting in the bed till 6:00.(not lying but sitting!!) Then changed my clothes and run a very short distance.
It was the first step of my restart life.

The last day before Tukuba Marathon

I don't have a cold now. My condition seems better than that of last year.
I couldn't prepare for it enough but I will be able to enjoy the race maybe.
According the weather forecast it will rain and be very cold, so I have to prepare for the bad climate.

Nishitokyo civli festival

We went to Hibarigaoka to see Nishitokyo civil festival.
My daughter had a hip hop dance there.

She has a rhythmic sense that I don't have at all!
Anyway I am now in very bad condition for several days.
I had not been running for 7 days after last week's race.
I feel myself very heavy and can't move quickly.
What point should I change myself from?

When?

When will I restart my training?

We took part in Ekiden at Tachikawa.
Four teams ran the race and there were many cheering party.
We could enjoy exercise! fully and after running drank as much as possible.

Ekiden

I will run Ekiden with staffs of the hospital where I work in.
Last year we took part in it as one team but this year two teams will take part in it!
The running boom has come in our hospital too.
It will be fine tomorrow so we will be able to enjoy it much more than last year(rain).

Vaccine

I was inoculated both seasonal and swine flu vaccine today.
I think little children should be inoculated earlier than any other people.....
I hope my daughters won't be in severe condition even if they are attacked by flu.

Fussa maraton(10km)

I was afraid that I would have a pain with plantar.
I had no pain while running! Yes, I was recovered.

By the way, I attended to a meeting of the Japan Emergency and Intensive Care Unit Society from 29th Octorbar to 31st. I could have some impression and reflect myself.
From today? tomorrow! I will have myself brushed up as much as possible.
There are many people who are going ahead with full speed!

I began to have training from today.
But I will run very carefully and never get my legs injured.
To avoid injury:
1. have an enough stretch before training
2. have an enough stretch after training
3. don't do overwork when I feel tired
4. to do cross training (swimming, cycling, use machines...)

Lose!

I got a mail that said I was not accepted in the Tokyo Marathon.
I failed three times sequencially!
Although I hate to run in the city but it is like a festival and I want to run the race at least once. I will try to apply next year!

09 Hasetune Cup

Although I had wonder whether I would run the race or not, I decided to stand the start line finally. If I had severe pain with my foot, I would stop the race at that time. My target at this race was to reach the second check point(40km point).


It was very fine. The best day for race!


In this year I took part in the race with a staff of my hospital.


The start was so crowded that it was dangerous.

When I started to ran, I could forget the pain wiht my right foot. But after 15km point I felt a little pain when running down slope. I ran very carefully to care my right foot. Then I fell over from my left foot and severe clamp in my left foot.
From that time I could forget the pain of right because of the pain of left side!
Anyway I ran thoroughly with my strength in reserve and never to run with top speed.
I could enjoy the race fully.

Mmmmmm....

I ran in the dark to check my rights.
I started at 4:30AM and tried to see the sunrize on the top.

I was sorry that I couldn't see the sunrize because of many clouds.

There are only 6 days before the race.

I was relieved because I could run. But when I came home I felt pain by my right foot. My plantar fascitis became worse....
I should take a rest till the race . I must take a rest......

Sports meeting of her elementary school in the rain

According to the weather forecast it would rain in the morning,but it was cloudy so the sports meeting was held.
When the opening celemony finished it began to rain.
The rain was getting harder and harder. After all they postponed it till next Thuesday.

Red spider lily

After night duty we went to see a lot of red spider lilies(lycoris) at Kintyakuda.
It was a little late to see them but we could enjoy enough.
There were many people who came from Shizuoka, Hukushima, Tiba and so on!

Autumn has already come but today is so hot that it is like summer.

I fell down to short of energy.

To finish a full marathon within 3 hours I have to run as pace running or build up running. Today I started running as a pace running 4:20~4:50/km, but I had been exhausted and ran as a build down running...... It was a result of short of training!

Grape valley marathon(巨峰の丘マラソン)

There are continuous five days holidays in Japan. And I have two and a half holidays!
I took part in the Grape valley marathon(20km) and ate much grape!
I run this race every year to eat grape as much as possible!?
After the race we went Syousenkyou and enjoyed sightseeing.


I took part in the race with my friend of highschool.


After the race we could eat grape as much as possible!


After the race we enjoyed petit climbing with a little thrill.

They have been becoming more and more tough!

One of my staff was knocked down by cold and I got more night duty in this week.
It's all right but I have to do something for a change.
I jumped into train and fell asleep. Then I ran around Okutama.

Good job!

One of our hospital staffs had a cold and suddenly couldn't do a night duty today.
I have to be at the night duty instead of him so I could get 5 hours free time afternoon. I ran back home and wore a running suit and begant to run as LSD.

I like autumn

For full marathon

My first target is the Japan mountaineering race so-called Hasetune Cup.
Another target is to finish a full marathon within 3 hours.
At next November I will run the Tukuba marathon and will succeed my target!?
To achieve it I should do pace run for 25km to 35km!! Pace run for 35km!!!!
Firstly my target is to achieve the 35km pace run!

Hasetune course

I could go for trail today!
I ran from 都民の森 to 武蔵五日市sation for 35km.
While trailing, there was a trail-runner who was 39 years old same as I and we ran together through the course. He began trailrun last year. Trail running is getting more and more popular.
We have to run trails more well-manner and nobler.

Mt. Fuji ,last climbing in this year

I tried to climb Mt. Fuji with staffs of my hospital in this time.
I worked as a tour guide!?
But a typhoon has coming and we gave up going to the top.
In other prefecture many people have died because of this typhoon.
The most important thing is to be safe when you climb mountains.....

Travel in Japan

While we went to my house where I was born, we travel Gihu Pref. and Nagano.
We traveled aroud Shirakawa-gou and Hida-Takayama.
