Ski in Yuzawa

In Tokyo it rained very hard. I though that although it was raining so hard in Tokyo it would be snowing in Niigata. But it also rained in Niigata!! The warming planet is very important and emergent problem!

Hasetune 30km

I entered for Hasetune 30km(mountaineering race).To make the entry for the Japan mountaineering (so called Hasetune cup), we had better enter this race.
Many runner have already made entries and it will be full soon!
The trail course seems to be easier than the Hasetune cup. The race will be held on 19th April, so I have much time to run.

Runnig in the ordinary life

Yesterday I went to work alone(It was Saturday ). I wore for running and ran to the hospital. It was too short from my house to the hospital so I went seven kilometers out of my way.
And today I also went 13km out of my way too.
We call this "通勤ラン". We can make good use of our time.

After a new year has come, I have not run much....
I have to change my monthly target....from 250km to 150km....
Of course I think winter is the season for ski not for running.... But it's too short of training. I have to change myself.

Family ski

We went to ski with grandparents from 10 to 12.
The first day it snowed very much but the second and third days it was so fine that children could play as much as they were satisfied.

But there was a big traffic jam on the way home, so I was sleepy...

First trail in 2009

I could finish the night duty by noon so I went out for trail!
Today's course was from Musashi-itukaichi to Mitake station.
I had a plan to go to Mt Otake, but I had to give up the plan because it was so late.
I could reflesh my spirit!

There were few people in the trail on weekday.

A Happy New Year

Although it is already 4th January....

2&3 January
After night duty we went to Yatugatake where there was a cottage of my superior's.
We enjoyed ski and drinking much beer!

My daughers enjoyed sledges very much.

This was the first time my smaller daughter skied!

4 January
I went skiing in the morning again and played with daughters in the afternoon.
I didn't run at all in this year but maybe I had trained much???
