AED lecture

In this month I have to make a small lecture about AED in my hospital.
I will talk about “how to use it”, “why to use it” and “when to use it”.
The AED (Automatid external defibrillators) was designed to identify tachyarrhythmias and automatically prompt the operator to deliver a shock.
The AED incorporates a rhythm analysis system, a shock advisory system, and external self-adhesive defibrillation pads.
When a shock is advised, the operator must take the final action by pressing a shock button.
They are designed only for use on patients who are unresponsive, not breathing, and have no signs of circulation.
