In a bad condition....Outbreak....
I had a cold perhaps and couldn't run for 4 days...
But from today I'm getting better and better. Maybe I will be able to run tomorrow.
Of course my cold is common cold and very slight.
Yesterday our hospital staffs got an alert about swine influenza from the goverment.
* WHO declares public emergency of international concern
* All countries urged to be vigilant for unusual flu cases
* More info needed before decision on pandemic alert phase
Outbreaks of swine flu in humans in Mexico and the United States have the potential to cause a worldwide pandemic.
This means there is a risk of the new disease spreading to other countries.
We have to be on high alert for unusual patterns of disease and any rise in flu-like cases or severe pneumonia.
The new H1N1 flu strain is a mixture of swine, human and avian flu viruses which has killed up to 80 people among more than 1,000 suspected cases in Mexico.

Hasetune 30km trailrun race
I attended Hasetune 30k with a resident of my hospital.
At first we forgot to change the trains and went to wrong lines in the morning!
Returned in a hurry and we could reach the race place in time.
It was a little hot but nice day to run a trail!
~happening~
I found a runner on the ground and he fainted.
The vital sign "pulsation and breathing" was no problem and his airway was kept.
After 5 or more minutes later, he was getting more and more alert but there was amnesia. He couldn't remember who he came with or when he started.
We(two firefighters, a clerk of hospital and I) stayed with him until official supporters had come and then we restarted. There were more than thirty minutes.
But from it we could passed a lot lot of runners and I had a illusion that I became much firster!!?
After that I could enjoy the race and finished it in a smile!
He finished the first trailrun race.
Today's reward for me!

The last day before Hasetune 30km
After night duty I went to Koganei Park with my daughters.
While they were playing, I could run aroung the park.
There were many beautiful flowers. I think the symbols of all flowers in spring next to cherry blossoms are tulips!
I like these "clear" colors.
A littel daughter began to ride on bicycle without helper.

Weekday trailrun
I could finish my night duty at noon. I jump on the train and fell asleep....
The station I would get off is a terminal so I don't have to be afraid that I missed to get off the station.
While running I met four trailrunners in the course. My motivation for the next race is growing up!
Nowadays it is a little hot for running, but in the mountain it's so cool!

Last ski of this season
We went to ski to Tanigawadake" Tenjindaira".It will be open till around middle of May! But I think it's too hot to ski, and the snow was so "heavy " that we soon got tired. Anyway I was very satisfied with skiing enough.
There were climbers who looked over fifties maybe. I was impressed with powerful seniors.
